Small Kindnesses, Almsgiving, Have you Seen

This letter consists of 7 verses, including the group of Makkiyyah letters, sent down after the letter At Taakatsur. The name Al Maa'uun taken from the word Al Maa'uun contained in paragraph 7, it means that useful stuff.
Principles of contents:Some human nature which is seen as the deniers of religion. Threats against those who do pray with negligent and riya (show off). Surah Al Maa'uun explain the properties of a poor man (in the meaning of bad guy) who brought them into misery. 

 

أَرَأَيْتَ الَّذِي يُكَذِّبُ بِالدِّينِ (١)فَذَلِكَ الَّذِي يَدُعُّ الْيَتِيمَ (٢)وَلا يَحُضُّ عَلَى طَعَامِ الْمِسْكِينِ (٣)فَوَيْلٌ لِلْمُصَلِّينَ (٤)الَّذِينَ هُمْ عَنْ صَلاتِهِمْ سَاهُونَ (٥)الَّذِينَ هُمْ يُرَاءُونَ (٦)وَيَمْنَعُونَ الْمَاعُونَ (٧

1.  Seest thou one who denies the Judgment (to come)?

2.  Then such is the (man) who repulses the orphan (with harshness),

3.  And encourages not the feeding of the indigent.

4.  So woe to the worshippers

5.  Who are neglectful of their prayers,

6.  Those who (want but) to be seen (of men),

---

7.  But refuse (to supply) (even) neighbourly needs.
